About KAMB
The Kansas Association of Mortgage brokers (KAMB) is an organization of nearly 400 mortgage brokers and professional affiliate members, consisting of individuals from across the state of Kansas, including the greater Kansas City metropolitan area as well as the Wichita area. KAMB is represented by every aspect of the mortgage lending industry including first and second mortgage lenders, wholesale mortgage companies, credit bureaus, appraisers, and many others. It was founded in 1995 to protect the interests of the consumer and the mortgage broker industry by advocating, regulating and certifying the highest standards in professionalism, ethics and education. Members of KAMB pledge to abide by Kansas and federal laws, association bylaws, and a national code of ethics to ensure professional interaction with customers. Members of KAMB are also members of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). KAMB continues to support legislation making licensing and education for all loan originators mandatory for the State of Kansas, as well as legislation that curbs predatory lending in a practical manner.
